Abstract
[Objective]To address the common issue of significant errors in diastolic blood pressure(DBP)measurement using the photoplethysmography(PPG)based tail-cuff method,this study aimed to develop and validate a novel approach for improving accuracy and effectiveness.[Methods]A dynamic tracking analysis of the arterial occlusion-release process was conducted to identify the moment of maximum slope change in the PPG signal at the end of diastole.The cuff pressure corresponding to this moment was determined as the diastolic pressure.[Results]Compared with the"gold standard"method,the proposed approach yielded a P-value of 0.17 for systolic blood pressure(SBP)and 0.42 for DBP in statistical comparisons.Bland-Altman analysis demonstrated that the majority of blood pressure measurement differences between the two methods fell within the 95%limits of agreement,indicating strong consistency.[Conclusion]This novel method enables non-invasive and accurate blood pressure measurement.关键词
