摘要
Abstract
N6-methyladenosine(m6A),the most prevalent epigenetic modification in eukaryotic RNA,plays a critical role in post-transcriptional regulation by modulating RNA splicing,translation,and stability,thereby influencing key biological processes such as the cell cycle and developmental fate.In recent years,research on m6A modification in the context of animal reproduction has advanced significantly,particularly in elucidating its essential functions during oocyte maturation and spermatogenesis.Studies have demonstrated that m6A precisely regulates the expression of reproduction-related genes through the coordinated activity of methyltransferases,demethylases,and binding proteins.Furthermore,m6A contributes to reproductive efficiency by mediating pathways such as placental development and seasonal estrus.This review summarizes the molecular mechanisms underlying m6A-mediated regulation and highlights recent advances in understanding its role in ruminant reproduction.关键词
