ISO 2537修订背景下的转子式流速仪技术演进与标准化研究
Technological evolution and standardization of rotating-element current-meters in the context of ISO 2537 revision

Abstract
ISO 2537:2007,Hydrometry—Rotating-element current-meters,has not been updated since the fourth edition(2007),making it difficult to adapt to the current development of hydrological testing technology.Through literature analysis and comparative research,this study systematically reviews the 230-year technological evolution of rotating-element current-meters and analyzes the coordination issues between ISO 2537 and related standards.Drawing on China's practical experience with GB/T 11826-2019,the study identifies key directions for the revision of the international standard.The technological evolution of rotating-element current-meters can be divided into three historical periods:the early empirical stage(1790-1880),the industrialization stage(1880-1960),and the international standardization stage(1960-1974),giving rise to two main technical lineages:cup-type and propeller-type current-meters.Associated standards such as ISO 772 and ISO 3455 have adopted the GUM uncertainty assessment framework,whereas ISO 2537 still relies on traditional error analysis,reflecting a theoretical lag.GB/T 11826-2019 tightens the starting velocity requirement by 50%and adds a 0.008 m/s ultra-low-speed application for laboratory hydraulic physical model measurements,offering a valuable reference for the international standard revision.Rotating-element current-meters remain irreplaceable under extreme conditions such as shallow water(depth<0.2 m)and high sediment concentration(>10 kg/m3).Rotating-element current-meters has the conditions to transition to professional metrological standards,and the revised standard needs to introduce an uncertainty assessment framework,clarify the role of rotating-element current-meters as velocity metrological references,draw on the practical experience of different countries,and develop an international standard suited to current needs,thereby providing technical support for the construction of global hydrometric networks.关键词
