Admission policy affects sustained development of high-performance sports teams in universities:an evolutionary game model
摘要
Abstract
The sustained development of high-level sports teams in universities faces multiple challenges in the context of sports-education integration.In this study we examine enrollment policy for high-level sports teams in universities,with a focus on strategic interactions among key players(sports department,education department,and university)by construction of an evolutionary game model.The impact of enrollment policy on sustainable development of high-level sports teams in universities is then examined.It is found that value orientation of sports and education departments,along with their preferences for the quality of athletic talents,jointly shape the evolutionary trajectory of admissions policy.An ideal admissions policy supporting sustained development of university high-performance sports teams should balance efficiency and equity in the admission process and integrate requirements for both athletic and academic qualifications in evaluation standards.However,to maintain stability of such policies will require effective coordination between sports and education departments.Any unilateral deviation will risk pushing the policy toward extreme and unsustainable states.Rational decision-making necessitates a nuanced understanding of the unique characteristics of different sports disciplines,to avoid any"one-size-fits-all"approach.Instead,admissions policy should be tailored to specific needs of each discipline.关键词
