High-Precision transient numerical simulation of SUV in numerical wind tunnel
摘要
Abstract
This paper addresses the high costs,long cycles,and blockage effect in traditional wind tunnel testing in the aerodynamic optimization of passenger vehicles.It proposes a high-precision simulation method based on a virtual numerical wind tunnel utilizing the structure of a domestic full-scale wind tunnel.The method builds a numerical wind tunnel model incorporating core components such as the settling section,contraction section,and nozzle.It employs a three-stage boundary layer elimination device along with an optimized grid strategy to enhance flow field quality.Key flow field parameters such as turbulence intensity,flow angle deviation,boundary layer displacement thickness,and axial static pressure gradient in the core region of the test section all meet the requirements of national military standards.On such a basis,a domestic SUV model is selected as the research subject,and simulation results under different boundary conditions are compared.The predicted drag coefficient error of the numerical wind tunnel is less than 5%,and the pressure coefficients at ten pressure measurement points on the rear also align with the experimental data.关键词
