摘要

Abstract

The roller-compacted concrete(RCC)gravity dam project of the Zhonghe Reservoir adopts a hub layout scheme that combines overflow surface spillways on the dam body with ecological baseflow intake and discharge facilities on the right-bank dam section.Energy dissipation and scour protection are realized by a combination of stepped dam face and downstream stilling basin.The drainage problems of the dam body and foundation in the abutment dam sections are solved by drilling through the dam body to connect the pre-embedded steel pipes to the foundation grouting gallery.For the high slope of the large colluvial deposit at the left dam abutment,comprehensive support measures are adopted,including prestressed anchor cables,long rock bolts,concrete frame beams,long drainage holes penetrating the interface between the foundation and overburden,and hydroseeding for vegetation restoration.River diversion and closure construction are implemented in two stages:in the first stage,the river channel is narrowed to convey flow;in the second stage,flow diversion is conducted through the diversion bottom outlets in the dam body.After the reservoir impoundment,the diversion bottom outlets are sealed and reconstructed into overflow steps.The design has accumulated valuable experience for the design and construction of RCC gravity dams.
