Abstract
The rural water supply guarantee project in Xigebi Town and Dongwan Town,Shawan City,Xinjiang,is a key livelihood project that faces significant soil erosion risks during the construction period.Based on the regional physical geographical characteris tics and project construction features, this study systematically analyzed the current status of soil erosion in the project area and its influ encing factors.Multi-source data were comprehensively used to determine the soil erosion modulus of different geomorphological units, and standard methods were adopted to predict and assess the soil erosion amount during both the construction period and the natural recovery period. The results show that the soil erosion amount of all engineering units presents a year-by-year decreasing trend dur ing the natural recovery period, with an overall good restoration effect. The research results provide a scientific basis and practical guid ance for soil erosion prevention and control of similar water supply projects in the arid regions of northwestern China, verify the effective ness of the zoned prevention and control and systematic management strategies, and have important guiding significance for realizing the coordinated development of engineering construction and ecological environmental protection.关键词
