Abstract
Vertical axial-flow pump units are widely applied in pump station construction in China,featuring low head and large discharge.As a critical component of the pump unit,the inlet flow passage connects the forebay and the impeller,regulating the flow pattern entering the impeller and ensuring favorable hydraulic conditions at the impeller inlet.Taking a vertical axial-flow pump unit as the research object,this study combines numerical simulation and model test results to carry out multi-objective optimization orthogonal design for the inlet flow passage of the vertical axial-flow pump,revealing the influence laws of key structural parameters(including the top contraction angle of the inlet section,the width of the inlet section,and the bottom lifting angle)on the hydrau lic performance of the pump unit.The results demonstrate that the top contraction angle of the inlet section exerts the most significant influence on the head and pressure pulsation coefficient,while the bottom lifting angle has the greatest impact on the efficiency.The research results provide a reference for related engineering design.关键词
