摘要

Abstract

This study adopts the LS-DYNA dynamic finite element method to analyze the hydrodynamic characteristics and flow drag variation laws of two typical underwater tampers:cylindrical and truncated-cone types.The simulation results demonstrate that,under constant hydrostatic pressure conditions,there is a significant correlation between the tamper mass and its motion parame ters.When the drop distance of the tamper increases gradually from 2.5 m,the maximum dynamic pressure values of both cylindrical and truncated-cone tampers increase systematically with the drop distance.Specifically,the pressure variation gradient at each monitoring point of the truncated-cone tamper is 1.3-1.5 times that of the cylindrical tamper,while the increment of penetration depth for both tampers presents a diminishing marginal characteristic.With the increase of the tamper size multiple,the tamping efficiency im proves progressively.However,when the tamper size multiple reaches 2.5 times,the increasing amplitude of the tamping efficiency decreases gradually.
