A Sag Calculation Method for Transmission Lines Based on Temperature-frequency Coupling Effect and Inclined Parabolic-traveling Wave Model

Abstract
Accurate real-time sag monitoring of transmission lines around the clock is the key of adjusting the safety-efficiency binary contradiction.To address the limitations of existing sag calculation methods in terms of accuracy and simplicity,this paper proposes a sag calculation method for transmission lines based on temperature-frequency coupling effect and inclined parabolic-traveling wave model.Firstly,a sag model for conductors with unequal suspension heights is established.Combining traveling wave propagation theory,both a inclined parabolic-traveling wave model relationship function and a sag model function are created.Then,the influence of temperature on the distributed parameters of the line is analyzed using finite element simulation,the temperature/frequency-wave velocity coupling relationship curve is yielded,and the Hippopotamus optimization-sequential variational mode decomposition-symmetric difference energy operator(HO-SVMD-SDEO)algorithm is proposed to accurately extract the arrival time of the traveling wave head and its central frequency.Finally,the accuracy of the proposed line sag calculation method is validated using a 220 kV transmission line located in Guangdong province as the research subject.The results demonstrate that the calculated values obtained by the proposed method exhibit a deviation within 0.02 m compared to actual measured values,with a fractional error rate of less than 0.5%.This level of accuracy meets the requirements for practical engineering applications.关键词
