Deformation Monitoring of High-voltage Transmission Lines Based on SBAS-InSAR

Abstract
This paper proposes an improved SBAS-InSAR method to address the problems of sparse coherent points and difficulty in deformation monitoring for high-voltage transmission lines deployed in mountainous areas.Permanent scatterers(PS)and distributed scatterers(DS)are extracted using a weighted amplitude dispersion method and nonlocal weighted phase filtering,respectively,thereby enhancing point density in low-coherence regions.To further suppress the effect of atmospheric phase delay,the adjacent interferogram averaging method is applied.A case study with 25 Sentinel-1A images over three transmission lines in Zhaoqing,Guangdong province demonstrates the method's effectiveness.The results indicate that compared with the conventional amplitude dispersion approach,the proposed method shows the advantage in obtaining coherent point density and the density value is multiplied.During the monitoring period,deformation information of three transmission lines is obtained using the proposed method.The overall average deformation velocity is-13.99 mm/a,with a maximum deformation velocity reaching-35 mm/a,indicating an overall subsidence trend.Among them,one line exhibits relatively small deformation and remained stable,whereas the other two lines show significant subsidence,and the deformation of towers along these lines requires close attention.The results confirm that the proposed SBAS-InSAR approach provides a reliable tool for deformation monitoring of linear infrastructure and supports the safe operation and maintenance of transmission lines.关键词
