Abstract
Scalp acupuncture is a treatment method that involves needle insertion at specific areas on the scalp.It has certain clinical efficacy for children with autism spectrum disorder.However,there are differences in the selection of acupoints(areas)and localization methods,as well as in the manipulation techniques.Moreover,there is a lack of technical specifications and standards for scalp acupuncture in the treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder.This technical specification clarifies the terms and definitions,basic requirements,technical plans(including acupoint selection,acupoint localization,tool selection,body positioning,environmental requirements,disinfection requirements,operation process,and treatment course arrangement),efficacy evaluation,precautions,and contraindications of scalp acupuncture for the treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder.The aim is to en-hance the therapeutic effect of scalp acupuncture for children with autism spectrum disorder and promote the standardization of clini-cal practice.关键词
