数字技术的增收效应与规模异质性
Income-increasing effects of digital technologies and scale heterogeneity
摘要
Abstract
In order to explore pathways for increasing herders'income amid grassland ecological degradation and the transformation of grassland animal husbandry, based on 2023 survey data from 383 herder households in Chifeng City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, this study systematically analyzed the impact mechanisms of digital technologies on herders'income and their differential effects across different operational scales, via employing the Cobb-Douglas production function, ordinary least squares regression, mediation effect models, and threshold models. The results showed that both digital production technologies and digital sales technologies significantly increased herders'income. The income-enhancing effect of digital production technologies primarily manifested through optimized factor allocation, particularly the substitution effect of machinery for labor.Digital sales technologies, conversely, exerted their influence mainly by expanding transaction scale and raising sales prices.Further analysis revealed that when herding operations did not exceed 257 sheep units, herders relied more heavily on digital sales technologies to boost income.Conversely, when operations surpassed 260 sheep units, digital production technologies played a more prominent role.Accordingly, the author proposed relying on digital technologies to optimize the allocation of production factors.Differentiated approaches should be adopted in promoting digital technologies, lowering barriers to accessing digital devices and services, and building a digital production-marketing system covering the entire industrial chain.关键词
