Abstract
The Central Urban Work Conference serves as a crucial"barometer"for urban governance and development in China.The transition from the"Five Coordinations"proposed in 2015 to the"Five Transformations"in 2025 reflects both the adherence to fundamental principles and the innova-tion in urban governance in the new era.The"Five Transformations"not only adhere to the fundamental stances,goal pursuit,thinking mode,and subject framework of urban governance but also are prominently manifested in the deepening of governance values,upgrading of governance paths,opti-mization of governance strategies,transformation of governance focuses,and advancement of governance methodologies.To promote the modernization of urban governance in the new era,it is essential to implement the"Five Transformations"and deepen practice through adherence and innovation.This involves centering on"people's interests"to construct an inclusive and accessible public service system;focusing on"improving the quality of existing urban assets"as a key approach to forge an intensive and efficient urban renewal model;anchoring in"local characteristics"to cultivate differentiated urban development dynamics;prioritizing"governance"as a guiding principle to optimize the allocation of governance resources that integrate both soft and hard elements;and employing"collaborative linkage"as a method to establish an integrated cross-regional governance synergy mechanism.关键词
