Abstract
Prestressed concrete T-beam bridges were widely used in mountainous areas;however,frequent rockfall activities significantly increased the risk of structural damage throughout their service life.This paper investigated the mechanical performance of a 30-meter-span multi-beam prestressed concrete T-beam bridge under vertical rockfall impact using a validated finite element modeling approach.The numerical method was employed to systematically analyze structural responses and failure mechanisms under dynamic loading conditions.The results showed that:the directly impacted region exhibited combined bending-shear failure,while adjacent beams experienced coupled bending-torsion damage;compared to the middle beams,the edge beams exhibited larger residual displacements due to reduced constraints;the quarter-span section was more prone to severe damage than the midspan section;under identical impact energy conditions,the impact radius was a critical factor in exacerbating structural damage.These findings provided a theoretical basis for accelerating post-rockfall emergency decision-making,reducing economic losses,and enhancing the resilience of transportation networks in mountainous regions.关键词
