火灾高温下新型单边螺栓连接剪切性能研究
Research on shear behavior of a new type of one-side bolted connection under high temperature in a fire

Abstract
In order to explore whether the new type of one-side bolted connection through thread holes could be applied to shear connection in high-temperature environment in the fire,a finite element model of the shear connection was established.The established finite element model was verified by the results of the shear test that was carried out at ambient temperature.Steady state analysis was adopted in the finite element analysis.During the analysis,three different thicknesses of plates were designed,and eight different temperatures were considered,and the strength and stiffness of steal at high temperature were reduced by changing the material properties.Effects of the plate thickness and the temperature on shear failure mode,shear strength and stiffness of the connection were systematically investigated.Finally,the applicability of the shear design method in Chinese code for this new type of one-side bolted connection under high temperature in a fire was verified.Research results show that due to the difference in plate thickness,two failure modes might occur in the connection:bolt hole bearing failure and bolt shear failure.The high temperature will not affect failure mode of the connection,but it can reduce its shear strength and stiffness,and the degree of reduction is consistent with the degree of reduction in steel properties caused by the high temperature.The shear strength and stiffness of the connection increase with the increase of plate thickness.However,when bolt shear failure occurs,further increasing the plate thickness has a limited effect on improving the shear performance.The shear bearing capacity of the connection calculated by the code is 60%to 80%of the finite element analysis results.The design method in Chinese code can be used to calculate shear strength of the connection with sufficient security margin.This new type of one-side bolted connection through thread holes can be used for shear connections under high temperature in the fire.The research results can provide reference for the shear engineering application of this type of one-side bolt under high temperature in the fire.关键词
