Deepening the Reform of Ecological Civilization System and Promoting the Value Dimension and Strategic Routes of Chinese Modernization

Abstract
The development of ecological civilization is an intrinsic requirement and essential feature of Chinese modernization.The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)clearly states that we must deepen reform of the system for developing ecological civilization,advance the building of a Beautiful China,and provide a solid foundation for advancing Chinese modernization.Deepening reform of the system for developing ecological civilization to advance Chinese modernization helps to:prioritize ecological conservation and enhance people's well-being;foster green innovation to achieve high-quality development;participate in global climate governance and strengthen international competitiveness;improve resource utilization efficiency and promote harmony between humanity and nature.Therefore,to deepen reform of the system for developing ecological civilization in support of Chinese modernization,we should:strengthen institutional safeguards and enhance supervision over ecological protection and restoration;break through reform bottlenecks to keep improving ecological and environmental quality;advance development transformation and foster a green foundation for high-quality development.关键词
