Analysis of ASEAN's New Energy Research Trends
摘要
Abstract
The knowledge production structure of new energy research within ASEAN holds substantial value for advancing China-ASEAN cooperation in this sector. This study utilizes bibliometric methods, drawing on literature from the CNKI database spanning from January 2000 to June 2024 on ASEAN renewable energy research.Employing VOSviewer and CiteSpace software for visualization, supplemented by manual review, this analysis delineates the spatial-temporal distribution and thematic evolution of research contributions in the ASEAN renewable energy domain.Findings indicate four stages in knowledge production:initiation, development, maturation, and innovation. On the level of research production entities, the field lacks a stable core author group or a cross-regional network of collaboration among authors and institutions.Contributions stem from universities, research institutes,state-owned enterprises, and international organizations, with institutional attributes closely associated with topic preferences.Academic journals cover a broad range of areas, including regional studies, energy studies, and environmental research, demonstrating continuous engagement with evolving topics.Thematically, research exhibits a strong policy orientation, high timeliness, and a distinctly interdisciplinary nature, covering a comprehensive range of ASEAN countries and subtopics. The research predominantly focuses on macro-level insights, complemented by micro-level studies.Recommendations include enhancing interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral integration within ASEAN renewable energy research, leveraging the strengths of both natural and social sciences to advance the integration of academic research with practical applications.关键词
