燃煤电站CO2排放核算研究进展
Research Progress on CO2 Emissions and Accounting in Coal-fired Power Plants

Abstract
As complex open energy systems,coal-fired power plants involve various carbon emission pathways throughout their lifecycle.To assess their carbon emissions,this paper examines the key emission stages and commonly used accounting methods.The combustion process is the primary emission stage of coal-fired power plant,accounting for over 90%of the life cycle CO2 emissions of coal-fired power plants.During desulfurization,CO2 emissions resulting from chemical reactions and electricity consumption account for approximately 5%of total emissions.Indirect emissions caused by electricity consumption during denitrification and dust removal also impact the overall carbon emissions.This paper further reviews four carbon accounting methods.The emission factor method is suitable for rapid estimation and preliminary screening but is associated with large errors.The material balance method enables carbon accounting by tracking the flow of carbon elements but is complex in practical application.The direct measurement method uses continuous emission monitoring system to measure flue gas flow rates and CO2 concentrations,providing high accuracy and real-time monitoring capabilities,though measurements are susceptible to interference.The data-driven method employs advanced algorithms to analyze historical data for more precise accounting but lacks transparency in results.Future research should focus on technological innovation and integration in carbon emission monitoring,deepening the study of carbon accounting methodologies,and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration across environmental science and data science to improve the accuracy and practicality of carbon emission accounting for coal-fired power plants.关键词
