Engineering Measures for Flood Control in the Fangtian River Mountain Torrent Channel,Taihu County
摘要
Abstract
Steep channel gradients,short concentration times and strong scouring capacity make mountain torrent channels highly susceptible to flash-flood disasters.Repeated flooding has caused serious losses and demanded substantial investment in emergency response and reconstruction.Using the Fangtian river mountain torrent control project in Taihu county as an example,the paper analyzes existing channel conditions and deficiencies in the flood-control system,and proposes engineering design measures for problematic reaches.The study aims to provide reference for similar mountain-torrent control projects.关键词
