Abstract
During the maintenance process of power transmission lines when they are shut down,manual tower climbing operations are required,which involves high personal safety risks due to the reliance on manual climbing.Based on UAV technology,this paper develops a UAV-mounted personal safety fall protection device.This device utilizes a UAV to install a protective fixed bracket on the top of the iron tower for tower climbing.The fixed bracket adopts a gravity self-locking mechanical mechanism.With the assistance of real-time video transmission,the fixed bracket can be quickly installed and removed on the tower top,achieving"visualization+automation"throughout the entire process of climbing and fall protection,effectively ensuring the safety of tower climbing personnel and improving operational efficiency.Field verification has shown good results,which is of great significance for the fall protection work during power transmission line tower climbing.关键词
