Abstract
The drum for reducing the diameter of metal wire is composed of a cylinder and a flange edge.The cylinder and flange edge are transitioned by a circular arc,which causes significant fluctuations in wire speed during drawing,causing impact and vibration to the equipment,and affecting the surface quality of the wire.The currently used drawing drum for no circumference relative sliding can compensate for the shortcomings of conventional drum,but it is suitable for drawing wire with a diameter>3mm.For drawing Zn,Al,Sn and their alloy wires with a diameter≤3mm,currently,the drawing drum still has problems such as wire materials being prone to overlapping and causing breakage,or being squeezed to an ovality deviation,and the less wire of accumulation on the drum causing insufficient cooling.This article analyzes the reasons for the existing problems,and introduces a micro conical section with function of slow retraction,and a multi-point lubricating oil structure on the drawing drum for no circumference relative sliding,and accurately controlling the tension of the pulled out reel wire,and studies the process parameters,which reduces the wire diameter of≥2mm,increases the drawing speed from 350 m/min to 500m/min,and avoids wire breakage caused by overlapping on the drum,even when the accumulated wire on the drum is≥20turns,eliminating the wire diameter out of tolerance and reducing the temperature of the wire on the drum.关键词
