On Mr.Damko's career in Tibetan medical cultural transmission
摘要
Abstract
Mr.Damko was an outstanding leading figure in the field of Tibetan medicine in Sichuan,Gansu,and Qinghai provinces during the late 20th century.He served as a key participant,witness,executor,and driving force in the development of Tibetan medicine.Demonstrating distinct personal characteristics and significant inspirational value in clinical practice,education,medicinal preparation,scientific research,and knowledge transmission,he was particularly renowned in Tibetan medical circles for developing numerous Tibetan medicinal preparations with remarkable therapeutic efficacy.He made outstanding contributions to public health,social progress,economic development,and ethnic unity,fostering exchanges and integration within the traditional medicine of the Chinese nation.Focusing on Mr.Damko's practical journey,this paper comprehensively examines his outstanding achievements in transmitting Tibetan medical culture and explores their implications for the Healthy China initiative and the cause of ethnic unity.关键词
