Application of generative artificial intelligence in nursing education:a scoping review

Abstract
Objective To conduct a scoping review on the application of generative artificial intelligence(GAI)in nursing education,and to provide reference for the digital transformation of nursing education in China in the future.Methods Following the scoping review guidelines,we systematically searched databases including PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,Embase,CINAHL,ERIC,CNKI,Wanfang,and VIP for studies on the use of GAI in nursing education from January 2014 to December 2024.The included literature was classified and analyzed.Results A total of 24 articles were included,and GAI played a positive role in improving the knowledge and skill of nursing students,enhancing communication and decision-making skills,and stimulating learning interest by customizing personalized learning paths,simulating clinical training,and optimizing teaching design.Conclusion GAI has brought new opportunities for the transformation of nursing education,though certain challenges remain.Future research could focus on inno-vating application scenarios and standardizing evaluation criteria.Through technological optimization,policy support,and education model reconstruction,the sustainable and responsible application of GAI in nursing education can be achieved.关键词
