1748例痛风患者中医证候分布及近十年演变规律的临床流行病学调查研究
Clinical Epidemiological Investigation on the Distribution and Evolution over the Past Decade of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndromes in 1,748 Patients with Gout

Abstract
Objective To explore the temporal evolutionary pattern in the distribution of cold and heat syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)among patients with gout.Methods A large-sample cross-sectional epidemiological survey was conducted.Clinical data were collected from 1,748 patients with gout who visited the Department of Rheumatology,Honghu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Hubei University of Chinese Medicine,from October 2013 and November 2024.Diagnostic information and clinical syndrome data were extracted according to established gout diagnostic criteria.Baseline demographic and clinical characteristics were analyzed,and the proportions of cold and heat syndromes over time were statistically described.A mathematical model was constructed to generate a time-series analysis,estimating the annual rate of change in these proportions and identification of temporal inflection point.Results Over the past decade,the proportion of heat syndrome among gout patients remained above 75%from 2013 to 2019.However,beginning in 2020,this proportion exhibited a declining trend,reaching 29%in 2024.Conversely,the proportion of cold syndrome,which was relatively low initially,showed a marked increase after 2020,reaching 37%in 2024.The temporal inflection point for the significant shift in the proportions of cold and heat syndromes among gout patients occurred in the first half of 2020.Conclusion Historically,heat syndrome constituted a higher proportion among gout patients.关键词
