Experience of nursing staff participating in virtual reality-assisted training for peritoneal dialysis:a qualitative study
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the experience of nursing staff participating in virtual reality(VR)technology-assisted training for peritoneal dialysis(PD),and to provide reference for verifying the feasibility of applying VR technology to PD training.Methods Using purposive sampling,21 nursing staff were selected as research subjects and trained using a developed VR technology-assisted PD train-ing program.Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed using the Colaizzi 7-step analysis method.Results Three themes and eight sub-themes were identified:immersive experience of VR technology(theoretical and situational in-teraction,enhancing memory and stimulating exploration interest,and driving deep engagement),transformation effect of VR technology experience(significant training effectiveness of VR technology assistance,and differentiated training effects),and innovation and diver-sification of VR technology(improving detail design,diversifying training content,and optimizing experience comfort).Conclusion The application of VR technology to assist PD training is feasible and effective,with high user satisfaction.However,differentiated needs of target group should be taken into consideration,thus to construct a diverse and universally applicable immersive ecosystem.关键词
