The Production Restructuring and Time Discipline of Digital Capitalism
摘要
Abstract
Time saving has always been the key driving force for the acceleration of capital valorization.With the widespread ap-plication of digital technology,social connections have become more precise and efficient,but the degree of time alienation has also deepened under the control of digital capital.Digital network technology has integrated people and things through the Internet of Every-thing,gradually breaking the spatiotemporal boundaries of traditional labor forms and expanding the trend of socialized production.The temporal overflow of labor time and the fragmentation of production time have placed workers under increasing pressure to manage their time.Moreover,digital capital has achieved an"total absorption"of the entire content of social life through its technological innovation advantages,and then exploits the entirety of social time with the unique time rhythm of the accelerated capital circulation process.Thus,the time discipline of digital capital aims to maximize the expropriation of workers'surplus labor time,thereby constantly opening up new spaces for capital valorization with digital technological innovation and the law of time-saving.The cost,however,is the con-traction of human development space and life time,which manifests as a"time paradox".关键词
