Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy and retear rate of arthroscopic double-row anchor suture combined with bone marrow stimulation(BMS)in the treatment of full-thickness rotator cuff tears.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 70 patients with full-thickness rotator cuff tears treated at Wuhan Orthopedic Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2020 to December 2022.According to the treatment methods,they were divided into the combined group(n=35)and the arthroscopic group(n=35).The combined group underwent double-row anchor suture followed by BMS at the rotator cuff footprint,while the arthroscopic group received double-row anchor suture alone.Visual analogue scale(VAS),American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons(ASES)score,University of California Los Angeles(UCLA)score,and Constant-Murley score were assessed preoperatively at 6 months and 1 year postoperatively.Retear rates were evaluated via MRI at 1 year post-surgery.Results All patients were followed up for 12-24 months,with an average of(14.37±2.43)months.Both groups showed significant improvement in VAS,ASES,UCLA,and Constant-Murley scores at 6 months and 1 year postoperatively compared to preoperative levels(P<0.05),but there were no statistically significant differences in VAS,ASES,UCLA,and Constant-Murley scores between the two groups at the same time points(P>0.05).MRI revealed superior tendon integrity in the combined group,with a significantly lower retear rate compared to the arthroscopic group(5.7％vs 25.7％,P<0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopic double-row anchor suture combined with BMS effectively reduces the retear rate in full-thickness rotator cuff tears,providing a safe and reliable combined treatment option for clinical practice.关键词
