摘要

Abstract

The study successfully prepared a self-degradable composite film(N-TiO2@PVC)of nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide(N-TiO2)loaded on a polyvinyl chloride(PVC)matrix,and explored the mechanism of PVC molecular chain scission driven by visible light.The results showed that the doping of N-TiO2 significantly enhanced the photocatalytic degradation performance of PVC films,with N-TiO2 forming uniformly dispersed nanostructures within the PVC matrix.The optical band gap of the 4%N-TiO2@PVC composite film decreased to 3.29 eV,significantly lower than that of pure PVC at 5.63 eV,and exhibited the lowest rate of photogenerated carrier recombination,thereby improving photocatalytic activity.After 400 h of ultraviolet light irradiation,the mass loss rate of the 4%N-TiO2@PVC composite film reached 22.90%,indicating its excellent photocatalytic degradation performance.SEM and FTIR analyses confirmed the crucial role of N-TiO2 in promoting PVC chain scission,revealing its mechanism of inducing C—Cl bond cleavage and the formation of unsaturated/oxidized structures under light irradiation.
