The Historical Logic,Theoretical Framework,and Practical Pathways for Advancing Deep Integration of Digital Economy and Real Economy

Abstract
Advancing deep integration of real economy and digital economy has become an important issue in optimizing and upgrading the economic system amid the new round of technological transformation and industrial restructuring.Existing literature has extensively examined topics such as digital technology application,industrial digital transformation,and factor allocation,providing a theoretical basis for understanding the fundamental connotations of the integration between the real and digital economies.However,from the perspectives of historical evolution and practical implementation,the integration process continues to face numerous challenges,including insufficient coordination mechanisms,underdeveloped data governance systems,uneven technological development,and imbalances in resource allocation and policy implementation.Under these conditions,constructing a systematic theoretical framework and proposing targeted practical pathways have become central tasks in advancing deep integration of real and digital economies. This paper systematically examines both the historical logic underlying the evolution from initial interaction to deep coordination betweenreal economy and digital economy,as well as the key challenges constraining the integration process in practice,and on this basis develops a targeted analysis from both theoretical and practical dimensions.At the level of theoretical logic,this paper constructs a"one body,two wings,and one support"framework,in which a new industrial ecosystem serves as the core entity,the foundational data element system and breakthroughs in key core technologies function as dual driving forces,and institutional resource guarantee mechanisms provide essential support.This framework is employed to elucidate the internal mechanisms underlying the deep integration of real and digital economies.At the level of practical pathways,the paper proposes strengthening the new industrial ecosystem as the main carrier of integration,removing factor bottlenecks through improvements in data element institutions,alleviating technological constraints through breakthroughs in key core technologies,and reinforcing integration through institutional resource guarantee mechanisms.On this basis,it further suggests establishing an integrated system for digital technology interconnection and smooth data circulation to facilitate the active participation of multiple actors in the digital ecosystem,as well as constructing a multi-dimensional institutional coordination system to address systemic failures in ecosystem operation. This paper contributes to the existing literature on the deep integration of real economy and digital economy in three main aspects.First,from a holistic and systemic perspective,it constructs an internally coherent analytical framework centered on the coordination of multiple actors and key factors in the integration process,thereby enriching the theoretical research on deep integration and moving beyond the limitations of single-dimensional analyses focused solely on technology,data,or institutions.This framework provides systematic theoretical tools and solution-oriented insights for addressing integration obstacles arising from the interaction of market failure and policy failure.Second,this paper shifts the analytical focus from static production relations to their dynamic evolution,examining the transformation of traditional production relations and the construction of new forms of production relations.By doing so,it extends the explanatory scope of existing theories regarding the evolutionary relationship between the real and digital economies.Third,in response to the lack of comprehensive,factor-integrated policy proposals in prior research,this paper identifies key bottlenecks in the current integration process and proposes goal-oriented and operationally feasible practical strategies,offering reference points for alleviating the constraints of traditional development models and improving institutional arrangements that support the deep integration of real and digital economies.关键词
