基于红外热成像的高强钢焊接头裂纹扩展深度检测
Detection of Crack Propagation Depth in High-Strength Steel Welded Joints Based on Infrared Thermography

Abstract
Infrared thermography is commonly used to detect crack propagation depth in high-strength steel welded joints.However,analyzing infrared thermal image features alone may be affected by image quality,resulting in unclear crack tip contours.This makes it difficult to accurately determine the crack tip location,which can lead to significant errors in the detected crack propagation depth.To address this issue,this paper proposes a detection method for crack propagation depth in high-strength steel welded joints based on infrared thermal imaging.Pulsed current is used to thermally excite the joints,raising their temperature to an ideal range.The corresponding infrared thermal images are then collected.The acquired images are then processed using Gaussian denoising and nonlinear stretching techniques.The Canny algorithm is then used to extract the edge pixels of the cracks,which are connected to delineate the crack region in the image.The crack propagation depth at the tip is corrected by calculating the stress component and incorporating the stress intensity factor,thereby obtaining the detection result.Experimental results show that the average error of the detection results using this method is only 0.72 mm,indicating high reliability and a small detection error in determining the depth of crack propagation in high-strength steel welded joints.关键词
