Abstract

A microbial agent composed of Bacillus velezensis and yeast was utilized to perform liquefaction pretreatment of food waste,combined with a UASB reactor to evaluate the anaerobic digestion performance and microbial community dynamics of pretreated food waste under different organic loading rates(OLR).The results demonstrated that liquefaction pretreatment significantly enhanced the biodegradability of food waste,enabling the UASB reactor to maintain a COD removal efficiency of 95.5%even as the OLR increased to 10 kgCOD/(m3·d),without acidification or ammonia nitrogen accumulation.Gas production performance analysis revealed that at an OLR of 7.5 kgCOD/(m3·d),the biogas yield reached its maximum value(0.84 m3/(kgCOD·d)),significantly outperforming untreated food waste.Microbial community analysis further showed that Clostridium and Methanobacterium were significantly enriched under high OLR conditions,jointly enhancing anaerobic digestion performance.These findings provide theoretical support and data references for the UASB treatment of liquefied food waste.
