Research progress on adjuvant intra-arterial thrombolysis after mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke
摘要
Abstract
Acute ischemic stroke(AIS),particularly proximal intracranial large vessel occlusion,is a common cause of death and disability worldwide,posing a serious threat to human health.Timely recanalization of occluded vessels to salvage the ischemic penumbra is a critical therapeutic measure.Endovascular treatment benefit patients with AIS caused by large artery occlusion,yet evidence indicates that nearly half of patients fail to achieve favorable clinical outcomes even after successful recanalization.Intra-arterial thrombolysis,employed as an adjunctive or rescue therapy to mechanical thrombectomy,aims to address challenges such as distal embolization and microcirculatory impairment.This article provided a review of the time window for arterial thrombolysis,the types,dosages,effectiveness,and safety of drugs used in mechanical thrombectomy-assisted arterial thrombolysis therapy in order to provide reference for the treatment selection of patients with large vessel occlusive AIS.关键词
