Research progress on attenuating toxicity and enhancing efficiency of Tripterygium wilfordii preparations against reproductive toxicity based on multi-omics technology and network pharmacology

Abstract
Tripterygium wilfordii preparation has a significant effect in the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as rheuma-toid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus,but its repro-ductive toxicity greatly limits its clinical application.Multi-omics technologies(genomics,transcriptomics,proteomics,metabolomics)can systematically analyze the mechanism of re-productive toxicity at the molecular level,and network pharma-cology can construct a regulatory network of'toxic components-core targets-key pathways'.The combination of the two provides a new way to clarify the mechanism of reproductive toxicity of Tripterygium wilfordii and to study the strategy of reducing toxic-ity and increasing efficiency.This paper systematically reviews the material basis and mechanism of reproductive toxicity of Tripterygium wilfordii,and focuses on the application progress of multi-omics technology and network pharmacology in the mechanism analysis of reproductive toxicity of Tripterygium wil-fordii and the strategy of reducing toxicity and increasing effi-ciency,aiming to provide reference for the clinical safe use of Tripterygium wilfordii preparations and the development of new low-toxic preparations.关键词
