Abstract
Objective:To explore the efficacy of Huachansu Tablets combined with Lenvatinib in patients with stage Ⅲ/Ⅳ hepatocellular carcinoma(internal accumulation of heat-toxin syndrome).Method:A total of 80 hepatocellular carcinoma(internal accumulation of heat-toxin syndrome)patients admitted to Longyan Second Hospital from April 2024 to May 2025 were divided into the control group and the observation group using a random number table.The control group(n=40)received Lenvatinib,while the observation group(n=40)received Huachansu Tablets on the basis of the control group.Efficacy was evaluated 12 weeks after the start of treatment.The tumor markers,chitinase-3-like protein 1(CHI3L1),traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,objective response,and adverse reactions were compared.Result:The cancer control rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Before 1 d of treatment,no significant differences were observed in tumor markers,CHI3L1,or traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05).12 weeks after the start of treatment,both groups showed reductions in carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),CHI3L1,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores(liver area pain,dull complexion,epigastric and abdominal distension),the observation group demonstrated significantly lower levels of these indicators compared to the control group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the total incidence of adverse reactions in hypertension,fatigue,or gastrointestinal reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Huachansu Tablets and Lenvatinib in treating hepatocellular carcinoma(internal accumulation of heat-toxin syndrome)can reduce cancer marker levels,improve symptoms,demonstrate good objective efficacy,and maintain high safety.关键词
