Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of the modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Chinese herbal hot collapse in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH)of liver and kidney deficiency type.Method:A total of 96 liver and kidney deficiency type LDH patients from August 2023 to August 2024 who were admitted in Honghu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected,and divided into the study group(n=48)and the control group(n=48)by the random number table method.The control group received conventional western medical treatment,while the study group was treated with modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Chinese herbal hot compress on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The clinical efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,lumbar function,pain degree and serum indicators of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.83%,which was higher than 81.25%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of both groups were lower than those before treatment,and those of the study group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)low back pain scores of both groups increased compared with those before treatment,while the modified Oswestry disability index(ODI)and numerical rating scale(NRS)scores decreased compared with those before treatment;moreover,the JOA low back pain score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the modified ODI and NRS scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-1β,transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),and thromboxane B2(TXB2)in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment,and the levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with LDH of liver and kidney deficiency type,the treatment with modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Chinese herbal hot compress can improve the clinical effect and lumbar function,reduce the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and pain degree,and improve the serum index levels.关键词
