Abstract

Blue foods hold a central position in global food and nutrition security systems,providing critical sustenance for billions of people.Their strategic importance continues to grow in the development of equitable food systems that balance human health with planetary ecological sustainability.The paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the domestic blue foods' quality and certification system,and finds that there are many problems in China's blue foods,such as difficulty in maintaining the quality of the whole industry chain,low level of digitalization and intelligentization in production processes,imperfect standard system and certification system.In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward countermeasures for the quality improvement and certification system construction of blue foods in China,including strengthening the research on blue foods' quality evaluation and quality improvement technology,developing the quality control and digital evaluation technology,establishing the standard system from the production to the supply chain,improving the certification system construction,carrying out the demonstration,promotion and application of blue foods certification.These measures will be beneficial for the standardized production of blue foods in China,promote international mutual recognition,provide support for the international trade,help the construction of China's Big Food Concept and diversified food supply system,and play an important role of blue foods in ensuring human food security,nutrition and health.
