Evolutionary game analysis of seafood supply chain enterprises under the MSC eco-label program

Abstract
Eco-labels are an important tool for realizing the ecological value of products.Eco-labels for seafood don't only highlight the environmentally friendly attributes of seafood products to consumers but also provide opportunities for market participation in sustainable fisheries governance.The Marine Stewardship Council(MSC)is a globally recognized organization dedicated to promoting the sustainable use of wild-caught fisheries resources,and its ecolabel is widely adopted in the global retail and catering markets.Its eco-label is widely used in retail and foodservice markets worldwide.Research indicates that consumers are willing to pay a premium for MSC-labeled seafood products,which incentivizes collaboration across the seafood supply chain to advance sustainability in fisheries.This paper employs evolutionary game theory to explore potential strategic choices of seafood supply chain enterprises under the MSC eco-label program and how they collaborate to maximize industry benefits,offering a theoretical foundation for exploring value realization mechanisms for eco-labeled seafood products in China and advancing sustainable governance in domestic fisheries.关键词
