Construction of High-level Vocational-general Education Integration across Whole Education Stages

Abstract
Promoting high-level"integration of vocational and general education"across whole education stages is a key direction for the construction of modern vocational education system in China.Currently,vocational-general education integration exhibits prominent characteristics of"gradual advancement at the basic level and difficulty in cross-stage implementation".The core crux lies in:the lack of a unified"equivalence system"leading to the failure of full two-way integration between vocational and general education;insufficient supply of top-level"policy frameworks"hindering the advancement of in-depth integration;differences in resources endowments between the"dual-track"systems affecting fair radial integration;and the imbalance of educational ecosystem restricting the implementation of"systematic"vertical integration across academic stages.From the perspective of collaborative evolution,the realization of high-level"integration of vocational and general education"across whole education stages requires the construction of interconnected and complementary educational positioning,a modularly embedded curriculum and teaching system,a reasonably shared resources ecological pattern,and a multi-adaptive evaluation and feedback mechanism.At the junior secondary stage,it is necessary to deepen vocational enlightenment education and promote the paradigm shift from"examination-oriented streaming"to"education-oriented navigation";at the senior secondary stage,focus on the refinement of general high schools and the characteristic development of secondary vocational schools to advance the key leap from"intra-school integration"to"systematic integration";at the higher education stage,strive to deepen the reform of"general college entrance examination and vocational college entrance examination"and admission systems,and promote the integrated development of the higherization of vocational education and the application-oriented transformation of higher education;at the graduate education stage,continuously deepen the reform of professional degrees to facilitate the collaborative progress of academic innovation system and the professional practice system at a higher level.关键词
