益气通阳化浊方联合腹针治疗高原高海拔地区代谢相关脂肪性肝病的临床观察
Clinical observation on the treatment of Metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease in plateau high-altitude areas with self-made Yiqi Tongyang Huazhuo Formula combined with abdominal acupuncture

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of a self-made Yiqi Tongyang Huazhuo Formula combined with abdominal acupuncture in the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)in plateau high-altitude areas.Methods:A total of 80 patients with MAFLD who met the inclusion criteria were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received treatment with the Yiqi Tongyang Huazhuo Formula,while the treatment group received combined therapy with abdominal acupuncture in addition to the control group's treatment.The treatment course lasted 12 weeks.The liver function,fasting plasma glucose,blood lipid indicators,four liver fibrosis parameters,body mass index,liver transient elastography,and quantified scores of TCM syndromes(primary and secondary symptoms)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Clinical efficacy and safety evaluations were also conducted.Results:After treatment,the improvement of liver function,fasting blood glucose,blood lipids,liver fibrosis,body mass index,liver transient elastography,and quantitative score level of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome(primary and secondary symptoms)in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01);There was no statistically significant difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).No adverse reactions occurred during the treatment period in both groups of patients.Conclusion:The combination of Yiqi Tongyang Huazhuo Formula and abdominal acupuncture is effective and safe in treating MAFLD in plateau high-altitude areas,and is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
