Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with motor relearning therapy on lower limb motor function rehabilitation in elderly stroke and cognitive impairment patients.Methods:A total of 115 elderly stroke and cognitive impairment patients admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2025 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method:a control group of 57 cases and an observation group of 58 cases.The control group received exercise relearning therapy,while the observation group received acupuncture treatment on the basis of the control group.The clinical effects were analyzed,included the effective rate of improving limb and cognitive function,cognitive function,motor function of lower limbs,walking function and complications.Results:The score of improving limb and cognitive function in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01);The Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)and Mini Mental State Examination(MMSE)scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.01);The Fugl Meyer motor function score(FMA-L)and functional walking scale score(FAC)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01);The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.01);The 6-minute walk test(6MWT)of the observation group after 8 weeks and 12 weeks of treatment was higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with motor relearning therapy has an ideal effect,which can improve patients'lower limb function,walking function,reduce cognitive impairment,and lower the risk of complications.关键词
