摘要

Abstract

This paper systematically reviews the technical progress,clinical application status,and future challenges of flexible electrodes in the field of brain-computer interfaces(BCIs).Based on recent domestic and international research literature,technical breakthroughs in flexible electrodes are analyzed from the perspectives of material innovation,structural design,and system integration,and their effectiveness in clinical application scenarios such as motor function reconstruction and neurological disease treatment is evaluated.Flexible electrodes have demonstrated great potential in clinical applications due to their excellent biocompatibility and mechanical adaptability.The success of Chinese first invasive BCI clinical trial marks an important advancement in clinical translation.However,long-term implantation safety,signal stability,and standardized evaluation systems remain key bottlenecks limiting their widespread application.With the further integration of materials science,artificial intelligence algorithms,and micro-nano fabrication technologies,flexible electrode BCIs are expected to provide breakthrough treatment options for more patients with neurological function impairments.
