Abstract
Cardiovascular diseases(CVDs)remain the leading cause of death worldwide,which are responsible for almost one-third of global mortality.In the last decade,research on flexible electronics for CVDs monitoring and treatment has attracted tremendous attention.In contrast to conventional medical instruments in hospitals that are usually bulky,hard to move,monofunctional,and time-consuming,flexible wearable sensors are capable of continuous,noninvasive,real-time,and portable monitoring.Notable progress has been made in this field,and numerous of significant achievements and concomitant research prospects deserve attention for practical implementation.In this review,advanced flexible wearable sensors for monitoring cardiovascular vital signals are outlined and discussed.It begins with an overview of the fundamental principles and characteristics of flexible wearable sensors,and recent advances of these flexible sensors for heart rate(HR),electrocardiograms(ECG),blood pressure(BP)and multifunctional integrated monitoring are highlighted.Finally,this review discusses the challenges and issues that need to be addressed for flexible wearable sensors in the field of cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment,and suggests the corresponding development directions.关键词
