Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of androgen receptor(AR)in triple-negative breast cancer tissues and explore its clinical significance.Methods This study included 320 patients with triple-negative breast cancer who underwent sur-gery at Zibo Central Hospital from January 201 8 to March 2025.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of AR and other biomarkers.The AR positivity threshold was defined as≥1%nuclear staining.Results The AR positivity rate was 47.81%(153/320).The AR expression was significantly associated with age,p63,Ki-67,and HER-2(P＜0.001),but not significantly correlated with tumor size,lymph node metastasis,CK5/6,vascular/lymphatic invasion,or tumor-infiltrating lym-phocytes(TIL).Conclusion The AR expression is correlated with older age,p63 positivity,low HER-2 expression,and low Ki-67 proliferation.It shows positive correlations with p63 and HER-2 expression,indicating a significant role in the development of triple-negative breast cancer.Therefore,AR holds promise as a novel therapeutic target for triple-negative breast cancer.关键词
