摘要
Abstract
The design of the luminance transition zone at expressway tunnel entrances has a direct bearing on driving safety, ride comfort, and the energy performance of tunnel lighting systems. In response to the prominent issues observed in current transition-zone designs, this paper conducts a systematic analysis from both theoretical and engineering-practice perspectives.First,it clarifies that the photometric characteristics of the transition-zone environment and the laws governing human visual adaptation constitute the core basis for design optimisation.Key parameters—including luminance gradient, visual adaptation time, and luminance uniformity—exert critical influences on driving behaviour.Based on on-site measurements, the study evaluates the visual adaptation performance of the existing luminance transition zone at an expressway tunnel entrance and analyses the principal shortcomings in the current design. On this basis,an integrated suite of optimisation strategies and management measures is proposed, including the introduction of daylighting,LED-based intelligent dynamic lighting control, and Internet of Things monitoring. The innovation of this study lies in combining advanced sensing/monitoring with dynamic lighting control technologies to enable fine-grained regulation of luminance transition, thereby ensuring traffic safety while minimising lighting energy consumption to the greatest extent possible.关键词
