Control Method for Aeroengine Servo System Based on Dither Effect

Abstract
To address the issue of minor fluctuation in the control process of the main fuel servo system of aero-engine,servo system control methods are investigated.A detailed analysis of the abnormal phenomenon and the working principles of the main fuel servo system reveals that the root cause lies in the poor resolution of the e-lectro-hydraulic servo valve under fine-tuning conditions.This deficiency leads to hysteresis in spool move-ment,which subsequently induces minor fluctuations in the closed-loop control of the main fuel flow.Innova-tively,a servo system control optimization method based on the dither effect is proposed.This method breaks through the traditional PID control framework by injecting high-frequency dither components with controllable amplitude into the control signal.Validation via semi-physical simulation experiments demonstrates that the method effectively eliminates minor fluctuations in the main fuel servo system caused by poor servo valve reso-lution.Additionally,it significantly reduces control fluctuations,decreasing the maximum fluctuation from±0.18%to±0.12%.The method is straightforward to implement and plays a vital role in enhancing the con-trol performance of aeroengine servo systems.关键词
