Transcending Geography and Ethnicity:Historical Contribution and Contemporary Enlightenment of the Great Anti-Japanese War Spirit in Shaping the"Commonality"of the Chinese National Community

Abstract
The War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,as a historical turning point for the Chinese nation from profound crisis to great rejuvenation,is a crucial field where the sense of community of the Chinese nation achieved unprecedented cohesion and sublimation through the baptism of blood and fire.The Great Anti-Japanese War Spirit has shaped the"commonality"of the Chinese nation community from four dimensions,i.e.first,transcending regional estrangement with patriotic feelings to build a national identity space of"shared destiny";second,surpassing ethnic differences with the spirit of unity to forge a national emotional bond of"shared weal and woe";third,consolidating the ideological foundation of"shared spiritual affinity";fourth,gathering the development vision of"jointly advancing the great cause of national rejuvenation"with common struggle goals.The forging of this"commonality"provided a solid spiritual pillar for the War's comprehensive victory and became a deep historical gene for the Chinese national community's sustainable development.In the New Era,inheriting the Great Anti-Japanese War Spirit offers four inspirations for forging the sense of community,i.e.first,consolidating the historical foundation of"commonality"by constructing a historical narrative of"commonality"while safeguarding historical truth;second,stimulating recognition of"commonality"by advocating the primacy of the overall national interests while promoting exchanges,interactions and integration among all ethnic groups;third,strengthening the ideological foundation of"commonality"by carrying forward core socialist values and building a shared spiritual home for the Chinese nation;fourth,consolidating the institutional guarantee for"commonality"by upholding the overall leadership of the Communist Party of China and promoting all ethnic groups to jointly move towards modernization.This is of great practical value for rallying Chinese people at home and abroad and advancing national rejuvenation.关键词
