Lightweight blockchain-based identity authentication scheme for internet of vehicles
摘要
Abstract
To address security challenges in group communication within the Internet of Vehicles(IoV),such as low authentication efficiency and high latency in key updates,this study proposes a lightweight blockchain-based identity authentication scheme.The scheme achieves efficient and secure group communication through a threefold mechanism.First,a lightweight identity authentication mechanism is designed,in which long-term pseudonyms,public keys of urban buses,and random numbers are used to randomize vehicle pseudonyms,thereby reducing the storage burden on third-party authorities while ensuring vehicle privacy and unlinkability of communication behaviors.Second,an enhanced blockchain-based verifiable authentication framework is introduced,where smart contracts enable transparent identity management by binding digital tags generated by third-party private keys with vehicle information,forming a tamper-resistant authentication chain.Third,leveraging the confusion characteristics of Rule 30 cellular automata,a dynamic key generation algorithm is developed to support millisecond-level key updates.Security analysis and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme satisfies stringent security requirements,including anonymity,traceability,forward secrecy,and backward secrecy,while effectively reducing both computational and communication overhead.关键词
