某高层建筑玻璃幕墙强台风致损的原因分析
Analysis of the causes of damage to the glass curtain wall of a high-rise building due to a severe typhoon
摘要
Abstract
To analyze the causes of extensive damage to the glass curtain wall of a high-rise building on the coast during Typhoon Mangkhut in 2018,a rigid model pressure wind tunnel test was conducted to study the non-Gaussian feature of wind pressure and the distribution characteristics of wind pressure coefficients for the building.The results indicate that the wind pressure on the concave side of the building exhibits strong non-Gaussian characteristics.When the winds flow from the east,the experimental wind pressure coefficients on part of the windward side and the concave side of the building are higher than the design values specified in the standards.Considering the actual engineering conditions and the intensity of Typhoon Mangkhut,it is speculated that the damage to the building's glass is not directly caused by the typhoon.The glass damage on the windward side may be caused by impacts from external flying objects.The initial glass damage on the con-cave side facade may be caused by excessive net pressure on the surrounding glass curtain walls due to some windows being open,or by impacts from distant flying objects.The subsequent large-scale glass damage may be caused by glass fragments being carried by strong winds into the narrow channels on the concave side of the building,leading to chain collisions.关键词
