Abstract
This paper proposes an innovative hybrid modular DC-cascaded energy storage system solution for integrating energy storage within DC power grids.By adopting a topology design that combines a'constant voltage'module with a'voltage regulation'module in a hybrid cascade configuration,the system retains the advantages of modularity while significantly enhancing performance.Specifically,the design achieves over a 40%reduction in operational losses and more than a 50%decrease in the volume of power conversion modules.A comprehensive suite of control strategies is introduced,including a power decoupling control method,a state-of-charge(SOC)dynamic rotation algorithm,and a DC voltage ride-through control strategy.These strategies effectively address the power control coupling challenges inherent in conventional schemes.Validation via PSCAD/EMTDC simulations demonstrates that the system maintains excellent and stable operation across a wide voltage range,delivers millisecond-level dynamic response,and ensures smooth mode switching.The presented research offers a novel technical pathway for integrating energy storage into DC transmission projects,providing significant theoretical insights and practical value for advancing flexible DC grids and the large-scale integration of renewable energy sources.关键词
